What is a Nurse-Midwifery?

The Nurse-Midwife (DNP-NM) program prepares registered nurses to provide comprehensive care to women and newborns during pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, and beyond. This hybrid, practice-focused doctoral program combines online coursework, on-campus intensives, and clinical placements, emphasizing evidence-based care, patient advocacy, and relationship-building. Graduates are eligible for certification through the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB).
